Protesters are fatally shot in the Sudanese capital Khartoum and other Sudanese towns. Internet and mobile networks are cut, but rallies against the military are reborn. And as South Africa emerges from its fourth wave of the pandemic, many of its citizens believe the travel restrictions imposed on them by some foreign countries were unfair.
