Macquarie Asset Management today announced a £ 276million financing deal with funds managed by Equitix.
The agreement provides for Macquarie Asset Management to lend to two funds with investments in 95 infrastructure assets in the sectors of health, education, social housing, waste, transport, transport and renewable energy in the UK and Europe. The financing solution, composed of debt indexed to inflation and linked to the sterling Overnight Index Average (SONIA), allows Equitix to refinance existing bank debt with long-term facilities adapted to the investment strategy of its funds.
