Sudanese Prime Minister Abdalla Hamdok announced his resignation on Sunday following the political crisis in his country.
It was not immediately clear who would succeed him and there did not appear to be any visible candidates. Sudanese Armed Forces Commander General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan declared a state of emergency on October 25 and dissolved the Sovereign Council and the government, but Hamdok was later reinstated under a deal with the army.
